After pitching the tent in Death Valley, I realized the Big Dipper was directly overhead. With the North Star to the West, I thought of making a star trail image (see any of those lately?) but decided instead on a simpler image. This was the last night of four of an expedition with four friends (see the A-Team's FB page here) and the only clear one after three solid days of rain and wind.
Tired of compressed (ugly) images on Facebook so I'm reposting this on the blog and think I'll be linking to FB instead of posting directly there from now on.
